Goodbye Natasha

Today, my beautiful friend Natasha leaves to undertake humanitarian work in Darfur, Sudan.

I fear for her life, but beneath the fear is a knowing that Darfur needs Natasha, and Natasha needs Darfur.

I love you with all my heart. I'm always with you, and you are always with me. Wierdly, today we both cross our own frontiers. We were blessed to have some time together late last year. I loved it. When you are strong and brave, it holds me to the same thinking. Nothing is unachievable. We might work on the other sides of the planet in different directions, but we work together.
Go forth.

The sentiment in those words is very moving. So beautifully put.
What an amazing woman to go and do that kind of work, I must ask how she got into it?

The thing that really struck me about your blog on the first reading is how heartbreakingly honest it is. I feel that you are really laid bare and that is scarey thing to do. I'm in awe of what you express!

As a friend it's just like being there with you at a late-night dinner in Surry hills.

Miss you
Love Megan
